Job description

We are currently partnering with an innovative Swedish-headquartered group at the forefront of biomaterial polymer science. With a deep-rooted commitment to R&D, this company is revolutionising the future of medical implants across multiple fields—including aesthetics, trauma, sports medicine, plastic surgery, and orthopaedics.

 

With the launch of their new aesthetics product and part of their continued expansion, the company is now seeking a Head of Medical Affairs – DACH to take on a strategic leadership role within the region. In this high-impact position, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the medical affairs strategy across the DACH region, while building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Healthcare Professionals. You'll lead scientific exchange activities, support clinical trial enrolment, and drive medical education and training initiatives. Collaborating cross-functionally, you’ll contribute to regulatory and clinical efforts while elevating the company’s scientific presence and credibility in the region. You will be instrumental in guiding the company’s growth through medical excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing scientific literature to inform company strategy, consolidating actionable medical insights.
  • Developing regional medical affairs goals, translating them into tactics for optimal scientific exchange.
  • Managing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships and supporting faculty development activities.
  • Supporting clinical research (ISS and SIS) by identifying investigators, managing protocols, and reviewing study data. Collaborating with regulatory affairs for submissions and product approvals Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines and assist in resolving regulatory issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and review promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Medical Affairs within aesthetics.
  • Strong scientific background with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and regional (DACH) expertise.
  • Fluent in German and English.
