Our partner is an innovative international company in the medical device industry, recognized for its cutting-edge technology and growing presence across global markets.

For their European team, we are looking for a Technical Support & Field Service Technician who will play a critical role in ensuring systems operate seamlessly and customers receive best-in-class technical support across the region.

About the role

This is a hands-on, field-based position focused on technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support.

The successful candidate will act as the technical expert and first point of contact for system-related issues, working both remotely and on-site at customer locations across Europe. The role combines problem-solving, travel, and customer interaction, with close collaboration across internal teams such as quality, support, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for advanced medical systems across the EU (remote and on-site)
  • Diagnose, repair, and analyse system issues, including reviewing data logs to identify root causes
  • Deliver timely customer support via phone, email, and site visits, ensuring high satisfaction and follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners while supporting documentation and quality processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and travel across Europe to support customer sites

Requirements

  • Technical degree/certification or equivalent hands-on experience, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Field service experience (medical device industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make sound decisions independently
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (German, French, or Spanish) are an advantage
  • Ideally based in Germany, Belgium, or the Netherlands, with willingness to travel frequently across Europe
